ABOUT BRAID-EZ

Making braids easier,
one braid at a time.

At Braid-EZ, our vision is to make braids more affordable and abundant in society by reducing the time it takes to braid and minimize the physical pain felt by braiders and their clients.

In my final year of engineering, I sat down to get my hair braided and lost twelve hours on that appointment.

That's not a service—that's a shift. Sitting in that chair, I realized something had to change. I could graduate and accept that this was just how braiding worked, or I could build something that challenged the status quo.

Braid-EZ exists to close the gap between how long braiding should take and how long it actually takes. Whether you're a braider trying to serve more clients or someone getting their hair done, your time should never be the price of your hairstyle.

I’ve never braided my own hair, but I’ve seen the time and effort it takes. I saw an opportunity to build something that could give back to a community I care about and make everyday life a little easier.

I enjoy taking ideas and turning them into something practical and useful. For me, the braiding machine is an opportunity to create something that can have a real impact.

It’s about more than technology—it’s about giving people back their time, making braiding more accessible, and building something that serves the community.
